Every 1st Sunday of the month from 3-5 PM, the West Baton Rouge Museum will host a new monthly music program, Sunday Chanté.
Sunday Chanté is a joyful, women-centered singing circle held on the first Sunday of each month. It will be led by Syreeta Neal, a singer and voice teacher and member of the musical Neal Family, who are native to West Baton Rouge Parish. This gathering is especially for women who love music, have always wanted to sing, or have been looking for a comfortable place to sing with others. There is no audition, no pressure, and no prior experience is needed. This program is for anyone who has a voice and is curious to explore it.
This program is FREE and open to the public. The West Baton Rouge Museum is hosting this program as part of our cultural offerings celebrating our region’s rich musical history.
